Video games have no purpose. Unless you're a professional and making money from playing, they are just a time sink. And this is coming from someone who played video games for 8 hours a day for years. You have to conciously choose to do something to better yourself instead of playing. Try starting with something small, read for an hour each day. Then add meditation.
