Hey everyone. I met this girl about 2 and a half months ago and we hit it off, after a few dates she ghosts me for 2 months after she picks me up, buys me dinner (my birthday) and we make out in the back seat of her car.

She then hits me up 2 months later after ignoring two texts from me asking her out( a week apart). She says she wants to catch up and see how I was doing. I flirt with her over texts a little over the course of three days and she tries to call me but I missed the call and told her I’d call her back and after that she disappears another 3 days then asks if she can call me. She explains why she ghosted me cuz I told her I haven’t gone out with girls over 3 dates and she says she got freaked out of commitment and admits she wasn’t over a guy but still says she’s not ready for a relationship. I brush it off cuz idc and talking to other girls. She talks about how she thought of me and that it was fate cuz I was just around the park we had our first date the night before. I then ask her out and tell her I’d call her tomorrow to set something up and I didn’t.

She asks me “what if I get scared again” and says she’d tell me next time instead of ghosting me but I’d feel like I’d be disrespecting myself if I asked her out again just bc she reached out. Thing is I’ve been with a lot of girls since her yet I still like her the most(maybe bc I was ghosted?)

Is she trying to reject me in a nice way and get attention or is she actually interested and I should call her back?
