What you're looking for, when it comes to "douchbags" is be polarizing. Have strong opinions, even when those opinions are reacted to negatively. You shouldn't care if she or anybody else has a different opinion, but you should tease her about hers if she differs from you. Be fun about it. An example: I think sweatpants at the bar is trashy. A girl I've been trying to get home sometimes wears sweatpants. I've told her I think that's trashy, now I tease her about it. I'll tell her I can't be seen with her, stuff like that. I really don't care if she wears sweatpants or not, the important thing is I have a opinion that is different than hers, and I'm willing to voice it. A "nice guy" is unwilling to have anyone think negatively about him, so he doesn't say things that are polarizing. The reason this is important is most people want to be liked, and between two people there is always going to be a discrepancy in attraction, a power dynamic. Showing you have opinions you are unwilling to bend for her is interesting, especially if it reflects negatively on her. The combination of putting your opinions above hers means if she is attracted, she's going to want to win your approval, not the other way around.

You know how you josh your friends by calling them faggots and laughing about it? Do that with women but take it down a notch or two. Being a nice guy means you’re not fun. What's commonly referred as a "nice guy" is being a clingy, passive-aggressive, pushover. Being a douchebag would be super agressive with no empathy.

Just be assertive and confident enough to set boundaries and not give a shit while being humble and having empathy.

“Nice Guys” do nice things with the expectation that she will like them, have sex with them be their girlfriend etc in almost a one sided quid pro quo.

If you’re doing it with no expectations it is a totally different vibe. However it is easy to be quickly used. By girls or guys.

Douchebags just do shit and don’t care if the girl likes them or not, or care if it drives them away, they don’t come off as needy. Pretty hard to be used when you or yourself first and only do things in your best interests.
