In the U.S., it is no fault. No, you can't refuse the divorce, and it will be forced on you. The parties' disputes and judges' rulings center around how to divide property, alimony, and child support, not whether a divorce will be granted or not. The divorce will happen.

Divorce is a lawsuit, so in cases where it's not "settled out of court" (i.e. both parties consent) she has to sue you for divorce and convince a judge to grant it. The burden is on the initiating party, the plaintiff, to prove that a divorce is necessary.

Believe it or not most jurisdictions in the United States demand a reasonably high bar of proof for unilaterally ending a marriage. The state generally has a vested interest in married couples staying together, especially when the welfare of children is at stake. Hope that answers your question.
