This happens when high expectations, fueled by constant attention and enabling, run into hard reality and those results fail to materialize. Many ugly women are just as self-unaware as many hot women. Lack of self-awareness forms the bedrock of blaming the rest of the world for your problems.

When a woman looks at you, is her hindbrain advising that her offspring will almost certainly die if she mates with you? If so, you're unattractive.

If your manager encouraged you to go but you don't care for the rest, then by all means go. Bite the bullet when it comes to the subtle mockery, it doesn't matter at all. Sure you feel bad now, but you're busy prioritizing your career and making friends where it counts. Spend some time chatting with your superior(s), then blow outta there. I like the suggested excuse of having a date. If your company culture is so weak as to allow the behavior you describe, start looking for other opportunities.

Hey now, honor your parents even if you dislike their behavior. Being better than them is your job. Complaining and publicly denouncing your own family is worse than beta, it's OMEGA tier childishness. Part of being better is honoring your family.

It's learned behavior. I think it can come about from abuse at a young age from other children or especially from adults. Passive aggression is a defense mechanism for coping with isolation or helplessness, like a one man social insurgency. You can't change your situation through direct confrontation, and so you lash out in petty ways to avoid blowback. When successful it ends up baiting someone superior into reacting poorly, making himself vulnerable and you the victim in popular opinion. Guerr…

In my experience, sharing details of your sex life with women who are not your girlfriend or trusted friend is a big mistake. They will find out anyway - they have channels - but if you personally open up like that too early it's a big turn-off.

Normal women can be emotional. A woman with Borderline Personality Disorder would threaten you with a knife in the morning and want to sleep with you in the afternoon, with no warning or buildup. BPD, and other personality disorders, represent the point where a woman's negative traits become so dysfunctional they are immediately distressing and sometimes dangerous to herself and the people around her.

I had an amazing female boss for about two months. I think a longer professional relationship might have resulted in some of these issues, but she didn't have enough time to get tired of me so it was great. Be supportive, not authoritative. A 14 year old young man should be proud of independent achievement... that is the key to confidence and self-esteem, especially around women. You should find out what interests him and encourage him to get better at it, even if it sounds stupid to you. Make sure he gets a job. Having money really helps with women, naturally.

Sometimes young women get a crush on older men, but that does not mean that older men should consider them available. School age girls are 1) almost certainly against the law, and for good reason; 2) far below your market value; and 3) a huge pain in the ass.

Sorry that happened to you, but I hope you learned from the experience. Women succeed in this area by baiting men into making mistakes, especially acting violently or giving a reasonable observer (like a judge) cause for concern. The downside of physical superiority is that there is a higher bar for men to act with self-restraint. That's just how it is. Any slip up like getting physical, raising your voice, or damaging property is a huge win for her. Don't fail the test, be a man of the highes…

IN THEORY, any civil case can be won or lost by the initiating party. The idea of "divorce rape" IMO mostly stems from the immense cost of having to hire an attorney to defend yourself.

She can sue, but she has to win. If husband doesn't defend, she wins by default.
/r/askTRP13/04/19 10:23 PM

That can happen if hubby doesn't have a good lawyer. Plenty of men understandably forgo proper legal representation either because they can't afford it or because of the emotional aspect of what's going on, and they can get fleeced as a result. (By the way, NEVER hire the same attorney as your spouse.) There are cases where the wife is legally entitled to things like alimony, such as where husband is breadwinner and she can prove marital infidelity or domestic abuse, especially child abuse. Ag…

Divorce is a lawsuit, so in cases where it's not "settled out of court" (i.e. both parties consent) she has to sue you for divorce and convince a judge to grant it. The burden is on the initiating party, the plaintiff, to prove that a divorce is necessary. Believe it or not most jurisdictions in the United States demand a reasonably high bar of proof for unilaterally ending a marriage. The state generally has a vested interest in married couples staying together, especially when the welfare of c…

This is, like, high school girl level logic. I'm willing to bet most of the people shaming this guy have a great deal of expectations for the world to shower them with attention and a free living once they get knocked up. This is an extremely important point. The same people who make a ruckus about manspreading and support this crap will make excuses for the morbidly obese all day long, even though they're causing the exact same problem. There are situations where taking up too much room is a genuine issue, like on an airplane. But it's the AIRLINE'S FAULT for not accommodating a person who actually should be buying two tickets, the degree of entitlement on display there is truly outrageous.

Safe space... aren't we literally talking about text on a screen here? I'm confused about what exactly makes a comment thread unsafe. Possible danger of getting criticized and BTFO for saying something ridiculous? Sounds like the real threat to SJW's is any contact with the outside world at all.

Gotta love the dude trying to be her white knight and responding to the other commenters. Thankfully he shows some doubts once OP reveals her true self, but he still can't bring himself to stop defending her, lol

Nice essay, but it's important to point out that what you're describing is Feminism as it exists today, not the ideology itself. If you go back to the early feminists, they lived and wrote their seminal works in the 18th and 19th Centuries, some before Marx was even born. It's logically impossible that feminism is an offshoot of Marxism because of chronology. In my opinion, it's more accurate to say that Second-Wave Feminism marked the beginning of a fusion between the Marxist elements in Americ…

You want some advice? Everyone is treating you like a child because you are 17 years old. It's a shame, but that's the world in which we live. As long as you prioritize others' assessment of you over your own, you'll actually feel like a child. Feeling like a grown man requires putting yourself first; you are only accountable to yourself for your own maturity and responsibility. You're exercising, socializing, studying, and earning money. Good. Keep doing those things. Keep getting better at doi…

Very reasonable. In fact, you've pointed out several things about the article that I failed to notice. I think you describe it best when you say that his point is not explained well, and that's what I extrapolated to a degree that was, admittedly, unsubstantiated. I was thinking of a reversed case where a female author was encouraging other women not to label their male partners as crazy - a designation which, more often than not, can result in a restraining order or even a jail sentence. But yo…

I may be overgeneralizing, but I'd guess that most women who react that way to the relative lack of women in visible positions of power are projecting their own self-image of powerlessness onto society. It's nothing more than a technique for rationalizing their own insignificance and lack of accomplishment - it's not their fault, it's society oppressing them. Many men fall into this thought trap as well. It has more to do with an overcompensating desire to hide impotence by raging against societ…

Interestingly, women rate the majority of the men on the site for below-average attractiveness, yet those same women send the majority of messages to the "unattractive" men. I think there's a dual message here about their standards of male appearance AND their expectations of success. It's interesting that women on a site like this would generally be seeking out men who are, on average, rated as less attractive than they are. Very interesting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
