Monk mode just seems like an excuse to shy away from interaction, sexual or otherwise. Even if you aren’t ready to go out and seduce some chick, just go and talk to them.

Literally walk up to a chick somewhere, anywhere, and say something. Then chat it up with the mentality of “what can I learn from this human today”. That mentality will naturally seep into how you talk, making your conversation more engaging and fun.

Feel free to crack jokes, be a bit insensitive, or whatever. Just socialize and don’t care too much about what someone might think or feel. Be outcome independent, and try to connect with people on a human to human basis.

Monk mode is retarded. For most of these people professing their devotion to monk mode, I bet if a girl texted them for a hookup, they would jump on it instantly.

TLDR: Self improvement and socializing is not mutually exclusive in any way. Approach any and everyone, have fun, earn experience!

“Monk mode” is from the same stupid camp though as “nofap.” Unless you’re life is a complete cluster fuck I don’t see how delaying getting better at things is going to help. MM is also often used by dudes with social/ approach anxiety to mentally masturbate that they are RP n’shit while avoiding the shit feeling of failing and rejection.

You get the picture. Time management is a valuable skill you should learn early on. And the bonus is that if you’re actually working on all of it at once you’ll actually be busy giving you a true sense of value because you’re actually achieving things regardless of how big or small.

Go out and fucking talk to people, lots of them. Women, men, old, young, fat, skinny, tall and short. Doesn't matter who the more the better. Contiue to work on yourself and work towards your goals. See a woman you want to get to know, talk to her. See how it goes and where it leads.

Going "Monk Mode" is like code for your autistic so if you make $xxx,xxx,xxx and are physically attractive you still win. It's a faux escape from social skills.

The need to do a real Monk mode is rare. I’m 50 And did a real monk mode 30 years ago. Had failed my college exams completely. Life was generally going down the toilet.

I got an apartment. Worked out from 7-8am every day (home workouts). Studied from 9am to 9pm. Read Philosophy books til 11pm. Slept. Grew a beard. A full month passed before I noticed I spoke to NO-ONE for a full month, despite living in a city and walking everywhere. It lasted for 3 months until I passed the exam resits.

In the last 30 years I’ve had intense focus weeks but never a monk mode. A monk mode is a complete internal reset. Rarely needed, but the last thing you want to do then having one is to have it derailed by chasing pussy.

It's your life man. Do what you feel is right. Just because monk mode on the internet tells you to live a certain way doesn't mean you have to follow it to a tee. But you can.
