tl;dr You can be rich, smart, and fit, but if you're quiet you still lose out to the jobless, brainless extroverted Chad.

Still in the recovery process since the swallowing the pill, got a ways to go overall but I wanted to address something in particular: introversion and how it makes you be perceived by others especially to the opposite sex. My thing is, a guy can be on top his game as far as being physically fit and financially sound is concerned, but can still fall short when it comes to being spontaneous, fun and exciting and at a moment's notice, especially when dealing with strangers and new environments if the dude just doesn't feel the need to talk a lot which results in women seeing that guy as "safe" and therefore beta. In my case, I can't help but feel like I'm still coming up short when it comes to being a cool and interesting guy to be around due to my introverted nature. I feel like simply being reserved quiet and not having a lot to say, even if I'm genuinely comfortable and don't feel anxious or pressured; creates the impression that I'm anything but "alpha".

The thing is, I'm no longer as anxious as I was as kid, I can hold myself pretty well in conversations and meeting new people is no longer such a daunting feeling. When I'm around people who I'm well established with, or if I'm talking about something I'm interested in or passionate about then I feel no reservations and I can talk pretty normally and be open. But when dealing with people I just met and/or in unfamiliar situations, or if I'm among a group and have nothing to contribute to the conversation, I find myself putting on the reserved mask - it's just my way I guess and I'd like to get to a point where I'm naturally more inclined to talk more and be open.

Any adivce? thanks.
