Hi folks,
I’m a recently divorced, 30 year-old single dad with two little boys. Been BP and unaware my entire life, until I got divorced last year.
Raising my two young boys into strong, healthy, masculine men is a big part of my mission as a man. My dad was unable to do the same for me, and I have paid the consequences.
Do you all think me having kids affects my SMV in the average woman’s eyes? Depends on the woman, obviously, but I’m still curious.
I am working on not letting what a woman thinks affect me (especially as it relates to my mission) My guess would be that having kids communicates positively in regard to my ability to provide and protect. On the flip side having kids does limit my freedom and mobility compared to a childless single dude.
I’m mostly interested in good girls. A few single ladies whom I’ve approached at my church have rejected me because I suspect as a divorcee I’m damaged goods in their eyes.
Thanks for your time and expertise.
TLDR: Does having kids affect my SMV for a woman eyes?
