Ok ill try to keep it short, i want to start studying Software Engineering, and i stumbled a crossroad. There are three options:
Option X - going to a regular school, need to drive there everyday because i cannot afford housing there. Good school, my brother in law studies there. It's like 3-5 times a day for 8 hours. Its Computer science tho and not software engineer.
Option Y - going to a closer school, it's less "elite" same hours, but easier to get there everyday. The degree is in software engineering.
In these two options, i won't be able to work and help my dad run his business.
Option Z -. There is an option to study through an "open university", and after 7 courses if you have an avarge of 87+ you could apply to the most Elite school in my country. The catch is that the open university is a self study type of school, you study a lot in home and you need to have shit ton of self discipline, which i don't know if i have.
What do you think?
