If you read here and internalized it you'd understand and wouldn't bat an eye. How do I know this? Because I've been there. I looked in the mirror in one day of misery and knew why - because I had no options when it came to women. So get plates. As for her getting married, realize it could've been anyone, so be happy it wasn't you. Likely she vetted the guy about as hard as you vet a taco when you're drunk at 2 am. When she gets divorced in less than ~3 years you'll be laughing.

Thinking that she’ll be back for sex in the future, and improving yourself for that reason, is some real lame shit. With that kind of mind set I can almost guarantee that won’t happen. It sounds like you derived your worth from the relationship, and when she left you, you took that to heart that you’re not good enough. Keep improving and keep building yourself up. She’s your ex girlfriend for a reason, for whatever reason

Be happy you didn’t have kids and your assets tied to her as it never was going to work out anyway clearly since you didn’t make it the first time around

man, i’m feeling a similar way as you right now. the answer you’re gonna get here (and probably the right answer for us long term) is to improve yourself so that you can fuck hotter women which should help you overcome feelings for your oneitis ex.

however, reading what blackdragon has to say about LSNFTE helped me alleviate my feelings in the short term. lsnfte provides you with a little bit of hope by telling you that your sexual future with your oneitis ex may not be over.

That's just life, man. That fantasy that at one time you may have mutually held that you two were bound together and would live your lives together is just that--a fantasy. One that at some point one or both of you determined will not come to fruition.

It was fun while it lasted, but she was never yours; it was just your turn. Your time together was special but it has ended and she's moved onto her next chapter, for better or worse. And you'll probably be much better off in the long term without her than you would be otherwise. Take whatever lessons you can from your experiences with her--the good and bad--and move onto your next chapter.
