The problem here seems to be you're talking at all about about your personal life, when the only thing you are really obligated to do is discuss your kids scheduling and school or behavior issues, etc.

Put her on a strict information diet. Do not talk about anything you personally are doing unless it wholly involves your kids.

Always redirect to your kids if she tries to talk about something else.

Yes she's going to try to bitch her random life frustrations at you and make it out to be somehow your fault because you did XYZ. This is because she knows you don't have a choice but to keep contacting her.

This puts you in a position of a lack of power to say "no," and regardless of the situation or how you got there, women feel contempt for powerlessness. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it except redirect, A&A, and deflect, and just minimize the behavior when her attitude starts cropping up.

Remember that whenever a woman has any given issue, it's automatically some man's fault. Because: patriarchy. This is just how their brains work, they hate responsibility, don't take it personally.

Awh Mate!? Very similar scenario to you although I was not married.

I was with this girl for about 8 years and we had a child together, we have been separated for nearly a year now properly (was always on and off before this) and she did not give a fuck about me and what I was doing with my life.

I took the red pill as much as I could and tried my best with it. Things started working out for me and then she starts playing games exactly like you've described above. One minute she's my mate and wants to try and flirt with me and talk about old times and the next she is being an absolute bitch and using my kid against me, trying to use him as a weapon. What's worse is she's got a boyfriend and basically said she'd drop everything for me again. (trying to get me back orbiting but I was having none of that shit)

In answer to your question, No I don't think they do get over it, I have a feeling they get worse because we obviously get better within our lives and they get worse and that will drive them absolutely crazy and they know we are kind of stuck because of the kids.

I'm still trying to work out the best strategy when it comes to dealing with her and I'm yet to find the best one which benefits me and my son.

I suspect she's trying get you into her frame. I think that she thought that becoming a single mother she would get alot of praise for being such a hero. Then life hit her in the face. It's not great and people really don't care and have their own lives. You're 27 so she's young and she is seeing her friends enjoy their lives. Her single (no kids) friends are going out after work and on weekends and are telling good sex stories and she's changing diapers and living in an unkempt apartment. The real burner is that your life is improving. She didn't expect it to go this way. This is why all single mothers are angry and un-dateable. They did it to themselves.
