While training BJJ 9 Days ago, I've strained my right bicep.
Painless and bruiseless, but the swelling and veins were very noticeable, a bit less on the right deltoid.
Last weekend went to the doctor, got diagnosed 1st degree bicep strain and got prescribed sling + compressive bandage, Ice, supplements and anti-swelling/anti-inflammant gel. Estimated prognosis 20 days, and I'm having ecography on wednesday to take a closer look at recovery.
As of today, swelling is reduced but still there, and I can move my arm without pain, except when rotating my palms the right one stops about 30 degrees before .
However absolute rest starts to give me a hard time, making me feel like shit and a slob without going to the gym or stepping on the mat.
I think about isolation exercises for the left side, but doing legs (I usually do squat, deadlift,45° leg press, dumbbell lunges and calf raises) would work around my injury?
