tldr; higher than average SMV working with beta low SMV chumps. Tried to befriend them, they sort of banded together to make me feel bad and unwanted. I got a new job that is WAY better than the current one. Before I leave should I investigate a bit into how\why they didn't accept me into their work clique or should I just fuck it and keep on keepin on?

Some necessary background: I was blue pill as fuck before my high school sweetheart divorced me. (right?) Anyways I changed states and got a shitty job that would be a an entry level to an industry.

Now I've never been the type to befriend co workers or socialize with them at all. I've always preferred to have my own life outside of work. My SMV is higher than average I'm tall (6'2"), half latino and I've been in the gym for a decade. (not shredded tho, sitting around 25% body fat. I'm on a hard cut right now to reach that mythical 10%)

I grew up nerdy, introverted, kind of a loner that preferred to read on the sidelines. Criticism and attention made me very anxious due to a relatively poor upbringing and some awkward sexual stuff that happened when I was younger (10 or so found porn..). I read ALL the time. I had several girlfriends before my highschool sweetheart. We went to college together and did nothing but smoke weed and stay in, get too drunk and fight with each other. I literally went to a state school and left with ZERO friends. (sucks)

So I changed states and found a new job. The folks at this job are very tight knit and the state is known to be somewhat insular. I played a fuck ton of video games growing up, but due to an LSD fueled inspiration I no longer waste time gaming.

Everyone I work with games HARD, like real hard. that's the only conversation they can have. (seems like it at least).

I'm not a social dude but I really tried to befriend these people. Like REALLY tried I attended their things and talked their bullshit talk, laughed at stupid things and such. For the last two years I buckled down to learn and succeed. I mostly work with headphones on and ignore other people, thats how I'm productive. I like to be productive at work as it makes the time pass and helps me feel like I'm actually contributing or building on to something.

I was sort of getting into their circle but I fucked one of their childhood 'girl next door' friends. Gorgeous blonde bombshell that broke up with her bf so her hamster could justify riding my cock. This was the last I really hung out with them because she got all bitchy towards them and me about them knowing that we fucked. (turns out they didn't know, she told me they did, so I got pissed and did some interrogation style phone calls. Which let them in on the secret and backfired on the lady)

about 6 months later one of them is still dating her best friend, they all party together but NOBODY likes me. Its obvious. I don't need them too but I'm curious why they don't. Due to the overwhelming cronyism and nepotism in the work place most of them got promotions and I sat in the same position doing the same shit for months and months even though I was kicking all their asses at the metrics. (they discarded this as me doing easier things and playing the game to increase my metrics.. fucking duh).

So I just got a new job with a 24k raise. big time. I decided fuck that place, fuck those people. I'm getting what I want.

I don't know if the original problem was my higher than average SMV in a workplace full of fat beta low SMV fucks or if its because I have some kind of attitude or social disability. I've never been able to make friends, in fact I think most people are stupid and unworthy of my time and words. I read too much. But I was nice to these folks. I thought I was.

So I'm still in a new state, changing jobs they're some of the only people that I know. I feel like its an opportunity to a) maintain relationships with folks b)figure out what I am or did that's so off putting to them.

my question for trp is: Should I confront them and say something like 'dude, what did I do to lose your friendship' not because I want it, I probably couldn't get it. they're addicted as fuck to video games which I could care less about. But I do honestly want to know so I can improve myself. While I don't want to befriend coworkers I want to be able to play the game and befriend other folks. I feel like this is an opportunity to know what I did wrong?

My roommate is the same way, we were sort of friends but then NOT. He ignores me just like all my co workers.

trp can you tell me whats wrong here? I think I'm just an asshole. but how the fuck do I change that? I'm a workaholic and a selectively social. I know most of the folks do the same thing and make way more than me. I'm the only employee in the department that has been 'written up' ever. Its like some natural enemy making talent I have. Even the CEO told me one day that I'm naturally intimidating. (achievement unlocked ahaha).

I don't know guys, I'm sort of lonely. I do my redpill thing and spend a lot of time improving myself and building upon the self discipline established back in my football days. But I do want 'homies' I do want to be social on the weekends.

advice, opinions, criticisms? Its all welcome.

I've got a few days left at this job. do I just nope out of there without saying anything. (they literally don't care that I'm leaving, they haven't said shit.) Or should I approach some of them to do some light investigation in what they think or where I fucked up? Maybe that's still some beta attitude from the old days. What do you guys think?

to be honest I'd rather sucker punch a few of them, it just seems like the only semblance of a social circle that I could of had.

Edit: I'm in my mid twenties. addicted to weed for almost a decade. I've just managed to kick it, going 14 days strong. this time its for real. I can't keep getting high through life (but that's another subreddit but it could be relevant to the story.)
