First of all you need to end it with her. It will be hard but it is the only thing you can do. The thing is, you don't have much self-respect to begin with. You've been made aware of where she's at and have overtly accepted it, covertly communicating the fact that you don't value yourself. That's why she says that she's not sure she's attracted to you. I mean why should she see the value in you if you don't see the value in yourself?

Second you need to let go of any notions that she's 'yours'. One of the iron rules of TRP is that she was never yours to begin with, it was only your turn. As things stand right now, you've emotionally invested yourself in her being yours which is a classic symptom of oneitis. This is a major reason as to why you can't bring yourself to get over her. Embrace that rule and it will be easier to let go mentally, and more importantly, emotionally as well.

It's human to feel strongly for another person. It's also easy to sit back and say to another person, "WTF bro? Why are you still with her?!" But it's difficult to put yourself first and do what's best for yourself when doing just that goes against what you deeply desire to do. Life isn't easy though and if you're going to succeed at it, you need to start making those tough choices.

There is nothing wrong with you. What endorphins and hormones like oxytocin that are released during and after sex do to your brain is also part of med school curriculum: Stong bonding or better said an addiction to that person, even if you can clearly see that this relationship is a bad thing. This is how male brains are wired, we go for a slim chance to spread our genes even if it is bad for us. BUT we can also use our brain and ask ourselves if a different strategy wouldn't be better in the long run.

If I were in your shoes I would make myself even more clear what the disadvantages are:

risk of an infection with something you can't get rid of anymore: HIV, EPV, HPV, herpes, hepatitis to name a few - do you want to catch any of these?
lose your self respect for being her plan D. I mean, you would have to assume that she sleeps around, but if she even tells you about it, she is not respecting you at all...
risk of getting her pregnant (google pearl index)

Obviously, it would be better to hard next her (given that you developed symptoms of addiction). You will be a doctor soon, you can do better for sure!
