There's been a bit of talk around the subs regarding friends and their shitty decisions in regards to life and relationships, and I want to keep that to a minimum in my personal life if I am to continue to improve myself. I've come to a conclusion that all of my friends (yes, all of them) are holding me back to some degree. Some simply provide little value to my RP journey, while others are absolute detriments to my progress.

I haven't talked to or spent time with most of them in a while, I spent some time with one recently after some considerable radio silence only to be reminded of my old BP life, and how I'm expected to continue that old life. Considering the way I am and the psychological hurdles I deal with, I should be glad I have friends at all. I like them and wish I could just get some of them on the RP wagon so that all of this would be easier.

I've only met one single solitary proven alpha dude in my life. As in, he had the pics, the girl, the physique and the lifestyle to prove it (I could swear he's probably a member here). He was only here on business for a brief while, so I made damn sure to extract as much advice from him as I could when I met him.

My question is two-fold: What am I to do with my BP friends? It's difficult to just cut ties with people I've known for at least a decade. And how can I find other people that are trying to better themselves i.e. People who aren't just at the gym to lift? It's a bit of a stretch to say that I'll find another RP-minded person very easily, but what can I do to smoothen the process? It sucks doing this alone.
