Date off hinge

Some back and forth, she's super busy with studying for LSAt, isn't drinking. I suggest ice skating, tease her a bit about if she's a slipper or a skater. Good vibes and what not.

Getting through logistics, she's busy, I'm out of town over the weekend. Hit her up when I'm back and set up a date for last night.

We meet at a bar of my choosing, she mentioned she's not drinking but still ejoys happy hour with soda. I drink lightly.

She seems a bit serious and stilted and the conversation reflects this. I start working in some teasing and the reception slowly gets better. After a couple beers, some chips and guac, I suggest moving to another location.

As we're walking around she suggests another bar, so we go there. As we enter I run into a bunch of high school buddies and we're all just ecstatic to see each other, also a huge plus as it gives me some status with this chick.

I run to the bathroom and come back to a couple of shots waiting for us from my friends. I get more tipsy as I took them both since she's not drinking. I get a bit loose and things seem to be going well, convo gets more relaxed and fun. Her body is now facing me and she begins touching. Awhile passes and I need to leak again, not before kissing her though, to which she was receptive.

We end up leaving shortly after, I grab an Uber, she walks home, brief talk about meeting when I come back from vacation. I still feel something a bit off, but a short make out and we split.

Text her today saying it was fun, we'll have to do it again, keep on those studies.

She thanks me for the good time but says she didn't feel much chemistry between us , best wishes etc.

Alright, so my first reaction is I didn't hold frame well enough, didn't lead enough etc. And to be honest I though she was a bit boring in the beginning, alcohol probably changed that for me. Her response leads me to believe she just wasn't attracted , but then why let me kiss her multiple times ? Sober at that. A bit perplexed and just looking to not make whatever mistakes I made again
