This weekend I've been to a festival and while I was there something happened and I really need some help with.

I've mostly been lurking reading a lot of posts on r/theredpill and this sub. So I thought I'd give this a shot. I struggle a lot with eyecontact and figured this would be a good place to start.

So while waiting in line with my friends, I saw this very hot girl she was at least a 8. I brought a mouth organ and was playing it. My friend, total bluepill guy, told me to stop because he said beautiful woman were around. I told him that me playing would only be a good thing, he didn't believe me and was annoyed with me continuing to play. But then she looked around and our eyes met, I instinctively gave her a smile and she smiled back!

Now normally I do not even dare to hold eyecontact and usually I look away when a woman looks back at me. So what happened was I felt like something exploded in my chest and got really nervous. I froze up and couldn't even continue playing, let alone walk up to her to say hi. Wtf, I guess I cared to much or something because the day before, I was approached by a 6 and we just had a fun conversation.

This feeling surprised me and caught me off guard. Annyone had a similar experience? What did you do about it?

EDIT: needless to say, the girl lost interest almost instantly and turned back around.
