It’d be one thing if you’re going 2+ hours to the beach but 20 minutes? Give me a fucking break, she’s simply using you for money. If anything, simply tell her you will bring the beer or some other similar cheap item for you both to use. But don’t give her cash. Also, read the fucking side bar.

Listen, you don't have to lowball her or anything here. I would agree to it this time but I would drive in the future. I prefer driving myself, but if I had someone carting me around I would pay a portion or the entire amount of fuel or even fill the tank because that's the kind of person I am.

5-10 dollars in her gas tank to get there and back, no problem. Less than I would pay to get there without her, and she will be with me on the trail.

Doesn't sound bad, you just don't want her to get into the habit of asking you for money in the future. Better plates pay for everything and hardly ask for anything AND buy you fucking presents.

There are levels. This woman is average, you can find better plates, better friends with benefits, better LTR material.

If she's pushy about the gas, you can tell her to stop by a gas station and put the gas in yourself. Don't give her the money as she'll most likely not use it for gas.

Sounds like she's either of low means (very dependent on her parents / others), shit with her own personal finances or shit testing you.

Even if she literally drives a F350, 40 mins of driving split 2 ways isn't anymore than $5. I don't understand why she would ask, but end of the day it's $5.
