Plated a girl this week. She's inviting me to visit some place she likes with her (a few hours drive). She's cool and I'm sure it's a decent place so I agreed. Now she mentions spending the night, I asked how much it was and she said "it's nothing, for your company". I thought a little about it and agreed - it's not something I would do unless she asked so I didn't see the problem.

Well the problem is now I feel like I owe her something. It's nothing I asked for but I still feel that way. Plus, saying thank you puts me in a position of weakness and not saying it puts me in a position of ungratefulness. This is something that happened a couple times before and I politely rejected because subconsciously I knew this was going to happen.

I think this girl will keep throwing free shit at me to win me over, who knows even maybe guilt me about it somewhere down the road, so I'd like to find a better way to handle it. She can afford it a lot better than I do and seems to currently have no problems about it.

Let me know your thoughts.
