To preface, I'm no model and I'm not huge, but I can recognize that I'm more attractive and bigger than the majority of the guys I hang with at school. Recently they tried to say a girl I hooked up with was ugly (she was a 7 and she's hotter than the hottest chick almost every other guy has fucked) and while I got more defensive than I should have, that isn't the point. My question is why am I getting shit on for this when a bunch of these guys have gotten no play or hook up with way uglier chicks? I feel like the answer I'm going to get is that they're jealous, but I don't really think it's why. For some reason I've become an easy target for these guys even though I'm better than the majority of them at most things. When I respond I'm basically shitting on them back, but a lot of times they get mad and say I'm taking it too far even when what I said wasn't that bad. For example, when they said the comment about the girl, I asked to see some pics of the girls they hooked up with and they said "stop, you're being that guy." Any insight?
