That's what you get for being a needy chump who promotes bitches before knowing them.

Four months is nothing. Even calling that an LTR is laughable on its own. I have worn the same pair of socks for longer than that and I definitely have and have had plates longer than that. Current running record is one year.

This is especially problematic considering her past. She has already been engaged? Veeeery fishy.

Dude if they broke up 5 years ago, either that dude is desperate as fuck, or there's a reason he is still around. As we all know, AWALT, and women like to have orbiters around. She might be stringing him along, but for him to feel comfortable enough to call at 3 AM, that shit is weird. I am willing to bet they still talk frequently, and probably even see each other every now and again for him to be making those type of phone calls. I've been in the reverse situation, I was with a girlfriend at the time and I had a ex-gf call me in the middle of the night - I was still "talking" to the ex on the side, and I bet this is the scenario happening with your girlfriend.

Women are masters of lying and deception dude, so I would be on DefCon-1 from now on with your girlfriend. She still has him in her contacts, he's comfortable enough to call at 3 AM. Not good signs at all, regardless of the waterworks and excuses she gives you. A real woman worth LTR would have put her ex-boyfriend in the no contact zone, instead this chick is still in contact.

Had a similar experience where she actually answers the call in the middle of the night. The guy isn’t in her phonebook (it’s a new phone) and she asks who he is. Turns out this guy friend of hers had the same name as her ex. I think he was asking her out to drink with their circle. She refused and told the dude she’s with her boyfriend. Never happened again.

She was talking loudly and made sure I was hearing everything. I didn’t care much at all back then as we just had sex and I’d rather get some sleep.

Now in hindsight, I think she’s trying to project this “I am really loyal to you” thing, or maybe trying to get a reaction out of me. Note that this girl is one of the crazy kind of chicks. She snoops into my phone and I let her do it so she knows I am seeing other women. I am kind of experimenting with the concept of dread back then.

We broke up because she’s leaving the country and I’m not into that kind of shit. Our relationship ended and I never knew if that guy was actually her ex. But yeah, whatever.

The point here is, don’t get bothered whether or not she’s talking to the guy. There isn’t anything you can do to stop her anyway. If it rustles your jimmies then just break up with her. Look for women who doesn’t talk to their exes in the middle of the night.
