Maybe nothing. People are nosy, like to procrastinate and like to pre-screen others.

Nah, why would they? They want a strong, leading male. The friend request is saying "hey I exist" like in a club a girl purposefully dancing near to you could be saying the same thing. Now they want you to instigate with them, if they want anything at all. They might want nothing more than another friend on their FB count.

So with this knowledge, do what you want to do.

The best course of action, if you are interested and have the ability to open them IRL. Go and find them IRL. Say "Hey, Jennie. You added me on FB". Now in person, she'll qualify herself some way "Yeah, you were friends with blah blah so blah blah". Then do your thing.

Worse is trying to open on social media but it can still work.

If you're using social media like Facebook. Keep it interesting. Be that with minimal content so as not give much away or with plenty of high-quality content to show you're interesting. Personally, I use Facebook and only rarely update it with high-quality stuff - many likes, good photos etc. Having social media with plenty of mediocre or boring content is pointless for any type of gaming. If you're using it to keep up with mom and dad, don't accept the randomers.

People just add guys and girls from their school on Facebook. It's happening to literally everyone else you know too. That's what Facebook is, it doesn't mean they're hitting on you.

Eh. Either they're mining data or trying to up their perception of how smv works "it's number of friends, followers, and likes".

Ignore their shit. At the least for someone else you hook with, they'll see more girls and presume your smv is higher. whatever.
