I'm turkish and let me explain you some dynamics. There are two types of girls in Turkey and you cant separate them from each other by the looks alone or where they are hanging out. Some of them will be real virgins and won't put out no matter what you do but the ones who do put out will most likely put out for any guy who remotely looks European. I've seen lots of turkish girls go haywire when I was in Erasmus and their Facebook was full unicorn shit with their bfs. There is an even saying for that, what happens in Erasmus stays in Erasmus they say. Only thing that holds them together is shaming which they will not feel with you so you are lucky.

For like minded guys you have to go to richer parts of the country, your average minimum wage guy won't speak a word of english and even if they did they are boring, stubborn and most likely stupid. You can find some interesting people in touristic places but be careful about guys who actually approach you out of nowhere and starts buying you drinks. They are not gay, they will hop couple of bars with you and you will have to pay a huge bill in one of those places eventually.

If you are going for summer tourism to South its far easier and you can actually hang out with animators from hotels.

The hotel gym is always only tourists and unless it is a nice one no one uses. I travel a lot so I can tell u I never use the hotel gym unless it is a short trip. I'd rather look for bigger nicer gyms to train in for heavier lifts.

You're almost better off hitting on a local or meeting locals at the gym esp if you are ripped. I met so many friends in china, hong Kong, Europe, just because I'm jacked at the gym. And these were bankers, hedge fund managers, land developers for men. Or socially savvy dudes... what does that mean? Access to hot chicks and fun clubs and local protection. And women...I usually don't bother with at the gym.
