Take a look at what they do in and out of school and find the typical Chad-type activities. Groups that workout often or play sports (CrossFit, intramurals, pickup basketball, lifeguards at school pools, etc) all usually have friends and plates with high SMV in those same circles. At my uni, even some of the engineering students have pull in these areas.

Nerdy looking dudes won’t get you anywhere, so observe your peers and those with decent school habits and high social IQ should be who you seek out. There’s more of those than you may think.

Nah, it’ll be incredibly easy to spot the “popular kids”. We had an orientation week for my school before classes started, but even then I could tell who would be making moves and who wouldn’t. I brought a handle of jack to school with me and pretty much approached the kids I knew would be going out the first week and the rest was history. I went out every night the first 3 weeks and by the time it was time to get serious I had already made some really close friends and good memories. Rushing first semester helped with meeting people too.

Contrary to popular belief, cliques are 100% a thing in college, so best align yourself with the cool kids from the start because after a few weeks people stop leaving their doors open and if you aren’t already boys with the kids on the hall you’ll essentially be forgotten or iced out unless you’re extroverted enough to approach them, which a lot of the kids on my hall didn’t do for me and my friends this past year even though we would’ve been receptive to hang out with them if they’d approached us with plans or even just wanting to hang out.

If I had any advice to you, it would be to figure out what type of college experience you want to have and align yourself with like minded people. We were the “party” kids in my hall and dorm. We were all in frats but we’d throw huge dorm drinking pregames with people from every floor we knew. High SMV friends introduce you to tons of people. But if you’re not into that lifestyle you’ll find plenty of people into whatever you like if you join clubs or do other activities.

Cliques dont mean shit unless you’re in a commuter school.

The hot volleyball chick will let the confident engineer student close

The football team will run a busto on the “gamer girl”

Just focus on your grades and throw a lot of shots out b/c nobody will judge you for it at uni
