I think your troubles will happen if you rush into a LTR with her, if you remain friends and keep it casual, you should be just fine.
Don't take it too serious man, things will work out, or they wont, you will grow and learn from this. Enjoy it and take it slow, don't get addicted to her, continue working on yourself and keep yourself busy enough to keep her from consuming your attention
