Hey everyone! Last week I asked an HB8 out for coffee. I've read a lot of material from the side bar on /r/theredpill and I believe that I've exited this situation appropriately.

I've met this girl before at one of my gigs (i'm a musician) and she added me on Facebook following my show. I decided to invite her to a music video shoot a month ago and she wasn't able to make it although she was interested in attending. Fast-forward to last week, I asked her to grab coffee and she gave me her phone number right away. I texted her to setup the date and she told me she was really looking forward to it. I didn't talk to her afterwards till the morning of to confirm to which I was surprised that she read my message and did not respond. I feel like I've played my cards right and she was giving me IOIs but following this mishap I realised she's probably immature so I didn't give it anymore thought, didn't message her anymore and moved on.

How did I do in terms of maintaining frame?

tl;dr: Asked a girl out, she said yes, was showing interest and I got stood up with no warning or explanation. Did I handle the situation properly?

EDIT: Afterwards I went out with some friends for supper and hit the gym later that night. Did not let this affect my day.
