You have to balance the reading that you do. If you only read TRP, you will become paranoid. It's important to know the stuff we teach here, you reading too much here will make you feel like being cheated on is a 100% inevitability, you're just waiting for it to happen.

It's like infantry trying to reintegrate into society and freaking out every time they hear a whistling sound. Not all whistles are mortars and not all women are waiting for an opportunity to cheat on you. All women are hypergamous. Be the guy at the top of the food chain and rest easy.

Mateguarding is an evolved male instinct. Most of us feel revulsion when we find out that a plate is banging some other guy...even if we ourselves are out fucking every girl we can get our hands on.

That said, a disciplined person learns to reign in destructive tendencies. That goes for both men and women. If you can't stand the thought of your LTR potentially leaving you, then you need to reassess your abundance mentality (or lack thereof)

At the end of the day you gotta be logical. Have solid ground before you take action or make a reaction.

You're gonna look real stupid and schizophrenic if you tell your girlfriend that you're breaking up with her because the stars aligned and told you to.

Also, DGAF about if she's disloyal or distrusting. It is what it is and if she is doing something wrong behind your back, the stars will align and provide evidence eventually.

"Trust but verify" is the best mentality you should lead with and like bigdaddypapadad said, check yourself and be real with insecurities.

I do understand the "gut feeling" though. There's some whimsical magic manly wizard in another galaxy sending signals to our shredded guts when something is.. off.

I 'member 2 years ago I bit the bullet and broke up with an LTR of 5 years. I didn't have a solid reason. She deserved some kind of explanation so I think i told her some shit like, "you want to get married and I don't."

A year later when I started posting pics of a plate that I was getting serious with, ex-LTR began posting pics too. Evidence surfaced that she was in a romantic relationship with a friend of ours. A guy I would work out with. The guy she'd tell me "not to worry about". I reflected and wondered if she had ever cheated on me with this guy but I can't recall any proof or anything but what tripped me out was that during our relationship, I had a "gut feeling" that she might've had feelings for a different guy (same friend group). Of course I trusted, but verified and she never did or said anything that proved that anything had happened, but still, I always just kinda had that feeling and I was sort of right, except that I had the guy wrong. Idk maybe they were DP'ing her. Whatever.

Your gut feeling was actually correct. It told you something was off in her behaviour, and it was. It doesn't draw you a map with the reasons behind her behaviour.

If she gives you reasons to doubt her, maybe it's a good idea to investigate a bit. An even better idea would be give less fucks about what she does, stop assuming the worse and searching for problems, and gain more self-confidence. Either way, you'll know eventually.
