Had a presentation at school today

It's just practice. Did you tryed to speak in front of the mirror before the presentation?

I had mild stuttering and giving presentations in English (not my native language) used to be my worst nightmare. But now after 4 years in a college in US. It is now very easy for me. So what did I do to get better?

_ Put myself out there and work as a tutor.

_ Understand what I am talking about well so I have the confidence when I talk about it. Act like I am the only expert in the room and whatever I say is the only truth there is.

_ Learn to crack a smile or grind in the heat of the speech. This would calm things down and ease up the tension.

_ Realize that if there is tension, it is because of me, not the listeners. I am the one who set the mood.

_Speak as loudest as I can.

_ Move around when I talk, using my hand language to express confidence.

_Practice in front of mirror but try not to look at my face in there, try to imagine I am standing in front of the class.

I just gave my presentation a week ago and I can confidently say that there is no better chance to shine and gather class crushes like a presentation.

Practice practice practice. After 1000 presentations, you'd be the most relaxed person in the room you're talking to.

Try different associations. There are also some free organization where people network with each other and give random presentation just for the sake of practice. Tutoring These a re few examples. There are millions others outside.

You didn't give much detail into what it is you were doing or why.....more like " I wanted to impress people, fucked this thing up now tell me what I"m doing wrong"
