Hamstering/Depressed about the future

For me, I could sort of resonate with you. Let me try to give you some contexts how I navigated that early in my life.

After highchool, I went to college full time on campus and working full time for a semester before I realized that I was burning myself out. I moved out at 18 so I had no choice. I was also paying for school this way. People were abundant and I loved it, but it wasn’t sustainable.

I still continued to work full time, but then I ended up going to school full time online. I never really had the “college experience/social life” that would of opened a lot more door for me to meet new people. But after a couple of months of thinking about this, there’s nothing you can really do about it - you just gotta stop playing victim and take responsibility.

I started changing different areas of my life that would open up those same opportunities. When I would study, I would purposely study at different campuses around me (we have many colleges near each other where I live), and I just start talking to random people.

I would go to coffee shops, and start small talk with regulars. It all snowballed overtime and I’ve built great connections to this day.

Start with the job you’ll have working 40 hours a week.I will never take an office job in my life. What kind of job will give you the opportunity to meet a mass amount of people a day? I work now in the fitness industry managing a gym. I talk to hundred of people a day. Still make new friends all the time. ;)

Start joining groups outside of your job. 1 friend will have 2 more friends that will open up to 4 more friends. Get some hobbies. Hiking, dancing, whatever. Be fun. Be interesting. Why would someone want to hang out with you?

You think when women graduate they’ll magically maintain their social life? No. They’ll either try to cope vicariously through social media or go to bars, ect. They’ll go shopping. They’ll meet you while your working. Doing errands. They'll have their own hobbies that cross with yours. It’s up to you to approach and see if they’re single/receptive/attractive to you to start a relationship. Yes it’s harder that gaming girls from a social group, but it still pays off.

I work with this girl who's an easy 8/10 but she's SO boring. She already graduated, and she has nothing else better to do. She's ALWAYS looking for something to do. Her boyfriend (that she met in college) is boring as hell We've been all out before. She hasn't met the better guy (yet, at least). I built a life for myself (at a young age) where I'm doing fun things most of the time. I workout. I generally take care of myself. She always wants to hang out by the IOI's she gives out on a minute-basis, but we are co-workers and that's not me.

Sometimes I question how dry women's pipeline is after college...USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.

I know I didn’t totally hit the nail on the head, but I have some lame ass friends and never went to college on campus, so I had to build my social life myself. If you got a job that pays well, hobbies, and are physically attractive - just know your ahead of like 80% of guys out of college lol. It’s just your responsibility to use that to your advantage. Just be a man and start taking action. You'll won't be a child forever.
