How do I avoid looking weak or begging without losing opportunities? (Ex. inside)

This is a mindset for more than just women. Life in general.

You should go for everything and anything you want. However, if rejected, you have to sincerely look "okay" with it. If someone isn't feeling it, take the cue and back off. Go till you feel them pushing back toward you and sincerely uninterested.

It works like this;

(1) You need to be calm, cool, and collected... like everything is coming to you. You obtain this with meditation, clean diet, and exercise, as well as mindfulness.

(2) You constantly remind yourself, "If I die today, I am happy to where I made it, and with what I have." If you don't feel this way, find out how to.

(3) Realize there is always another opportunity and another place. You don't need that one particular thing or person, because there is another that is even better out there and you WILL obtain that another time (abundance mentality).

With this mindset, you will display exactly what you're looking for. Best of luck.

If you're not willing to lose, you can never win. You need to understand that not all your approaches will be successful. You have to learn and accept that if you drop one girl today, 3 nore will pop up in her place in the future. One girl is not the end of the world.

I don't want to lose potential plates

This isn't abundance mentality.

Texted her last week and tried setting up a date... the day we planned for didn't work out

If she's super into it, if the day suggested doesn't genuinely work out, she'll offer an alternative date. The fact that she said she can't and didn't offer a time when she could means she's lost interest.

How do I go about trying again? Or do I leave her to contact me?

You cut your losses and stop instantly getting focused on any one woman, especially one you've never even gone on a date with. If you "try again" you'll look desparate. You don't "leave her to contact you", you move on. If you run into her again she'll know you aren't hard up for dates and might still have respect for you, and maybe be interested again. But it's not likely.

At college I'm sure she has 100s of options - so I wanna stand out without compromising my position.

At college you have 100s of options. Stop pining over a single woman and mingle. This one didn't work out. You stand out by not falling all over her and making her the prize. If you want to stand out, make yourself the prize. If she isn't reacting like you're the prize, then hit the gym, and work on your charisma.

Already lost a few by going blue pill and asking too much/giving too much praise.

You're still losing them by going blue pill.
