You just answered this yourself. Unless you're trying to acquire something from someone, there's no need to be asking them for anything. What you do is your choice, you don't have to lie, you just don't have to say anything.

If they died tomorrow, you'd likely inherit their house. So you'd need to know property maintenance, how to pay mortgages and taxes, cook for yourself, clean, etc.

Basically what I'm saying is: tell them what you're doing, stop asking. Learn how to be a self-reliant adult who makes his own choices. Because one day you're going to have no choice but to live on your own accord, and you need to start today before it's too late.

you are under no legal obligation to follow their rules. Stop asking permission and tell them you are going. Text them some pictures so they know you are ok; preferably not after having too many drinks.

Your mother has created a world for you where obeying her = good. Disobeying = punishment. For 21 years you have been trained to be an extension of your mother. Come to grips with the fact that you are your own person. You have your own needs and wants. Read NMMNG and actually apply it to your life. It's not a minuscule problem because it actually sets the framework for the rest of your life. If you don't set boundaries at home, you won't when you're on your own.
