The problem: My boss requires that each of his subordinates submit a process improvement suggestion. I don't trust him. He will mangle any idea and force me to do pointless work which he will say I volunteered to do. He may even give some of that work to others and make me out to be the bad guy.

The question: What idea can I suggest which won't result in pointless work?
