I know how to respond when a girl shit tests you in a normal way (get me this, are you a player?, do you have a girlfriend?, etc)

But when a girl shit tests you (in an insulating way) or throws shade at you (you're so dumb, you're so skinny, you're so short), wouldn't A&A basically be self deprecation?

Aren't you giving her the permission to make comments like that show you disrespect?

What are you supposed to do on that case?
