How does an alpha male handle confrontation?

Too many variables here. What type of confrontation? With whom? Who else is around? Is this an instant confrontation or a standing one?

Overall just be confident about your assessment. Be kind but firm about your boundaries. If it’s physical, remain calm but be prepared and able to throw fists and always offer the other guy a way out that won’t make him lose face.

Very simply a high value male doesn't respond to your challenge. They will ignore, disregard it, be unaffected, or maybe even smirk depending on the situation. If escalated, they will stand up for themselves and will be ready to fight if absolutely necessary.

Low value males will allow confrontations to get under their skin. They will get triggered, emotional, angry/upset, let it ruin their day. They may even retaliate by trying to fight because it bothers them that much. In worst case scenarios betas are usually the ones who take arms and have the potential to stab or even shoot someone depending on the context. Alphas will not take this route.

I think remaining stoic while being able to voice out what's wrong is quite a good way.

I come from a Mediterranean culture where it's acceptable to loose your shit and get upset, but live in some country where if you loose your calm you are a looser. So I try to play along the line. "Are you upset? - of course I'm upset because *precise list of valid argument*".
