Here it's often mentioned that when a girl flakes, or doesnt show much interest, you must next her, forget her and start looking at other girls.
While, in real life, many of my friends tell this story how they meet:
"I said to him I'll never go out with him, but he was so persistent so I gave him a chance. Now we're a couple"
"He was asking me out for a year straight. I finally gave in."
"I liked that he never gave up"
