You're asking the wrong questions. You should be asking how you can improve, not what will get you dates. Focus on you. Improve yourself, and take all steps available to make a better, more attractive YOU. Women will follow.

I'm improving by trying to fix my social skills and working out.
I'm just curious how much looks play a part in at least getting a date, despite not being the greatest conversationalist.
It can't be this hard to get girls. Maybe it's because i'm mixed race... idk? It's a mind fuck because i'm been on /r/rateme and they gave me 7/8's. Yet i do bad on tinder and girls in real life show initial interest (holding eyecontact in an overly obvious way), but wont give me the time of day after that. (they never text back etc)

Pick up a hobby, and find something you are passionate about. You may be losing their Interest. If you see a girl you want to approach, just do it and see where it goes from there. Also, don't seek validation from the range of women that are on reddit, the majority of them are not attractive, so their opinion is mute.

If you’re not comfortable talking to men, you’ll probably never be comfortable talking to women. Talk to everybody, be an active listener, and be interesting. Interesting also means having opinions, but not being overbearing with them.
