I don't understand how outcome independence is possible. I'm always concerned with my image because status is power. Power is always the goal.

On Men: I can never be completely outcome independent because social circles intermingle and one person has a massive influence on what your image can be especially if you're new to the scene. If you fuck up an interaction, insult them, or say something that they don't particularly agree with, you probably just missed out on a networking opportunity, a job possibility, or a business partner. If you're hanging out with high-value males, which I try my best to do, this becomes a bigger concern. This leads me to be supplicating for the most part and I hate cutting people off. I've already cut two people off who were extremely high value because of stupid shit, and it hurts to think that they could have still been great mentors. Sometimes not cutting people off just leads to them treating you like shit, but at the same time they have so much to offer that you just have to deal with it.

On Women: Not only do you have the same problem as fucking up social interactions or social circles, if you're labelled as a creep or a retard by one of her friends, you've essentially severed your chance with the others. You're unfuckable in a given situation. You've ruined your shot and damaged your social rank. You're fucked.
