Father recently died. Later I'll have to make a call with my half sister who wants me to resign from the inheritance (which she claimed that she did too). She didn't provide us with any inventory and dodges questions. But I assume that she will tell me some sob stories in order to make me feel bad and play into her game. I'm rather jaded either way but I want to stay rational and don't want to waste my time by being polite and let her finish her sob stories.

Father lived and died abroad but it's still in the EU (same for me).

Edit: the sob story includes how the widow and other minor half siblings really have nothing left and can't even start selling the cattle and similiar.
