Two stories. 1: After I had worked at my last job for about 8 months and had good reputation with the rest of the team, a new girl comes in. Trailer trash type with the whole 9, kid, etc. She's flirting with me, even slaps my ass, I ignore it and brush it off. Two days later I get called into HR about inappropriate conduct with said new female. I explain what happened, that I didn't have any interest in her. HR tells me that I need to not downplay what I did and to control my actions in the future.

2: Cut to 6 months later. I have a new job, working security. I meet this woman in a mall in working at and we talk, and get along pretty well. I get her number, wait a couple days, and we text for a couple days. She texts me around midnight saying she can't sleep. I was up, so I reply asking if she wants to come over and watch movies, and I'll make an early breakfast. She stops texting me and I don't hear anything for three our four days. Then another guard at the mall tells me that the manager of her shop doesn't want me in their store anymore as I was making the employee feel uncomfortable and threatened.

So my question is did a legitimately do some thing wrong, and how do I avoid this shit in the future?
