So I'm stuck in a rut at the moment. I've been unemployed for a week, but have some promising interviews lined up already. My issues is that my motivation is almost non-exsistance, both for my work (job hunt) and other activities (gym, hobbies, social life etc). Thankfully I'm a very routine person, I'm still job hunting and preparing for my interviews 9 to 5, and I'm going to the gym regularly. Sadly my heart is quite in it at the moment, I'm not 'In the zone' when I'm lifting, and I'm always subconsciously trying to find an excuse to procrastinate, making me less effective at work.

I expect I'm just feeling down because of my recent redundancy, but I feel this happens often when life starts getting tough. Right now , I need to develop a strong, motivated self-image to put in front of my prospective employers. How can I do this now, and maintain it in the future?
