So, I have an overbite, I was struggling and kind of hating myself for having it.

I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that my upper teeth are more in front than my lower teeth. I searched this up and apparently is called an overbite. After this, I was thinking maybe I should move my jaw so that my teeth align cause I I looked much worse with an overbite. Even tough I looked better this way, when I opened my mouth I could see that only 2 or 3 teeth touched each other, the front ones were still separated by some blank space, same thing with some other teeth in the back.

But my jaw is getting tired, can't stay like this 24/7, so I decided today to just own it. I stayed normally, without forcing the jaw to move forward, because at the end of the day, that's who I am!

To my surprise, girls seemed more engaged when we had a conversation, and flirting was much easier. Friends often were teasing me for making some funny faces when I was pushing my jaw forward, once I stopped it, the jokes stopped too.

This is kind of strange because I definitely see myself better in the mirror while pushing my jaw forward. What is your opinion on this stuff? What should I keep doing?

P.S: I know you are probably saying that I should wear braces, but in my country they are very expensive and can't afford it.
