Try not to be a buzzkill around your friends and also be high value. Make them want to be seen with you.

Dude, a lot of people are probably a bit anxious, shy, or afraid of rejection right now due to limited social interaction over the past year. But, at the same time, a lot of people are itching for social interaction. As vaccination rises and summer hits, it might be a golden time to socialize. I say after a good conversation with someone or a group of people, ask them to grab a beer/grab some lunch right after or another day... something that will take 30m - 2h. As for getting invited, I think we all want to be invited to stuff, but again, you shouldn't rely on others for your social life and you can't guarantee that people will have room in their lives for another friend. Don't know any places to go? LOGISTICS. Do some Yelp research, know the hours, find a decent rating and then you can say "hey wanna check out X place sometime?" Be prepared for flakes or people that aren't actually interested but won't say it to your face. I mean what I say so I hate people like that, but... that's people, man.
