So upon finding TRP I did what many people did and completely overcompensated. I found it in the middle of the summer between my sophomore and junior year of college and went all out improving myself. I came back, tried to act all "alpha" and promptly got labelled a misogynist with only a few tinder lays and the occasional drunk hookup to show for it. Much better than the past two years, but not quite what I was hoping for. Since then I went very downhill. I've made a lot of enemies. I kind of just turned into an asshole (especially when drunk), which is obviously not what being alpha is about.
My friends, as expected, spread my mistakes all over campus, so I will be finding a new group to hang out in next year. I cut off my friends from my hometown because I was at the bottom of the totem pole and they say that it's better to have no friends than shitty friends. Unfortunately, I have zero social influence, zero respect, zero plates, zero friends.
I'm currently starting monk mode which I plan to last over the entire summer. I already look good but I plan on continuing to make progress in the gym, read, work, and reflect upon my mistakes from this year.
My question is what should I be doing to gain social influence and respect from my peers in the meantime? Since I'm in monk mode I have very little interactions with my friends (not that anyone is going out of their way to hang out with me). What should I be thinking about? What kind of mindset should I have right now? When I had momentum earlier in the year I was driven mostly by hatred and anger. I can put myself there again and get shit done if you guys think that's the best course of action, but it definitely took a toll on my mental health.
