I make a lot of dates via OkCupid and Tinder. I get their number, arrange a day and time to hangout, and then usually tell them that I'll text them that day (to let them know where we are going/what we are doing). Usually they respond very positively to my forwardness, but most of them either end up not texting back when I text them the day of the date, or they have an excuse, or they confirm the date but don't follow through.

I'm wondering how I can change this. Some of these girls are even the ones messaging me first. Any tips on how to increase my success rate?

Edit: The time between asking them out and the date is usually only 1-4 days
