Met a cute girl last thursday during work (I’m an event security officer, she’s a hostess) and gave her my number after chatting throughout the day and noticing that she was somewhat interested in me.

She texted me the next day telling me that it took a while for her to be able to text because my number was apparently one digit short and she had to figure out what my number was (indicates high interest?) and jokingly saying that she was worried I gave a fake one to get rid of me but ‘too bad for me’ she figured it out.

We exchanged a few more texts where I proposed to go for drinks. She lives quite a drive from my city (so bad logistics), but she has to work here for a few days in two weeks (I’ll be working at the same venue). She finishes at 2am every day though, so I stated that it would be a bit hard to get drinks at that time. She ends the convo with something in the line of: yeah it will be :(. I didn’t respond after this, which was last Friday.

If TRP teached me something, it’s that the girl will take action to propose an alternative to meet if she’s really interested. On the other hand she looked interested during work, she texted me and her texts indicate high interest. Is she waiting for me to lead or just not interested enough? Should I take another shot with this girl or not, and how?
