A few nights ago my main plate came over after "having some wine" at a coworkers house. Anyway, she rolls up to my place and gives me the usual hug/kiss yada yada. So as per usual I ask how her night went, and she casually slips in the fact that said coworker was a guy from her high school. I assumed having wine night with a coworker was a female thing, but whatever, I digress. Hearing this completely caught me off guard, so I just kept it casual and replied with something like "oh cool". Then she started saying stuff like "Yeah we just watched some netflix and whatever" Clearly trying to make me jealous and gauge my response. Unfortunately this kind of pissed me off and I started acting kind of short, whereas usually I'm the fun/charismatic guy. So obviously she notices something's up and starts saying "What's wrong? You're acting strange". But all I could say was "I'm good. Just been a weird day". Eventually I poured myself some whiskey and calmed down, then I was fine. But I definitely reacted like a little bitch and I'm sure it was obvious to her. Oh well. Ended up fucking till 3 in the morning. Anyway, before this starts to get any more convoluted, I'd love to hear your guys' input on the matter, more specifically what I should do next time to better handle the situation.
