Hey guys. Note that I won't use the word "friends" in this post, because I honestly feel like I have none, & that everybody's out to get me.
Yesterday, when I was in class, I was completely ignored. Everybody seemed to be in their own little conversation bubbles, and the only way I could get attention from somebody is by lightly tapping them on the arm and talking directly to them. Even then, I can't hold their attention for more than 30 seconds. As soon as somebody else starts talking to them, they immediately turn their attention to that person. Nobody ever notices me when I approach them, look over and say "hi" (not even people I've known since the start of first year), nobody ever texts me first, nobody ever approaches me. I have to initiate all that shit. This has been going since the start of this semester (I'm a third-year student in a finance program in university). There's no such thing as "fraternities" in my university; they were banned for reasons such as "they discriminate, harass"... all PC bullshit. If there were frats in my uni, I would have rushed one in the first weeks of my university experience, and been a fratboy ever since.
I've never experienced being ignored like this... ever. In first and second year, whenever people I knew saw me, they would always say hi to me, dap me, give me a bro-handshake & hug... girls would run up to me & hug me.
I think it has to do with the fact that I have weak frame & body language. For example, whenever I see a group of people I know huddled around in a circle hanging out, I shuffle meekly towards them & wait for a turn in the conversation that never comes instead of confidently walking up to them & showing that I've arrived by dapping them or some shit. And low and behold, no one notices me. No one notices me when I walk into class. I would use the alpha body language tip of "make people come to you instead of walking up to them," which is also kind of an application of 2 Laws of Power: "make your accomplishments seem effortless," and "appear to have people need you more than you need them," but I can't when nobody even notices me in the first place.
I know right now, I'm a 5'11", 155-lb. skinny fuck, but I dress stylishly, and I have a very stylish haircut & facial hair. I'm lifting, eating right... but it seems like if I'm not Chad, nobody gives a shit about me. While I work on improving myself, how do I stop being ignored like this? How do I turn heads when I walk in the room/approach? Is there a certain body language/facial expression hack I should know about? Is my vibe just off? Because, right now, I walk around campus with a vibe like, "Don't bother me, I'm here to work."
