Hi,

I set up a date with a cute girl I met on Tinder. I am clearly out of her league normally. However, I'm new in this city and I liked her personality.

The date went well and so I asked her to come with me to an event next Saturday. Anyway, she had business near my house today (really, not an excuse) and asked if we could meet. I told her I'd cook us dinner.

She's a nice girl, though a little shy. However, when her clothes comes off it appeared that she is fairly chubby. Not extreme by any measure, but enough to kill my attraction. I don't blame her for that, in retrospect I should have noticed when we first met.

I'm about to cancel on her. How can I do that while:

a) Not lying

b) Not hurting her more than absolutely unnecessarily

c) Avoiding dishonesty

In terms of importance a>b>c

I was about to send her an over the top message about how she's awesome but that I'm sorry I'd have to cancel because I didn't feel any "sexual chemistry". This might not a bad option, however I fear that giving it to her softly might potentially hurt her more because she'll feel pathetic as well as unattractive. (And from most mens perspective she really is neither.)

Primarily I want to avoid hurting her too much. Realistically I have the highest SMV she will ever touch. Secondarily I worry that if I don't make it extremely clear that I don't want to see her again I'll never get rid of her.

Any best practices or good insight here?

Edit: This is what I sent:

"Hi Jane. I enjoyed your company. You have much going for you. I regret that I don't feel the sexual chemistry I need for dating. Unfortunately I will have to cancel our date on Saturday. Sorry! I wish you all the best Icarus"

What do you think? (Keep in mind that I will never see her again, and that she doesn't have any interactions with my social arenas) Could I have left her in a better state?
