I'm 22yo graduating college this May, moving to a dingy-micro-city between two big poppin' cities, and starting a job in a predominantly male/max_HB5 work environment (electrical design engineering).

The work I'll be doing is inline with my Mission and I have already established a strong presence/professional status (at least for a college grad) from when I interned there over the summer. I'm planning to room-rent and bike to work, as part of my wealth plans to reach financial independence by 35.

I'm diligent in working out at my home gym, meditating, eating better, and reading.

I'm an avid scuba diver, hiker, and DIY-electronic tinkerer.

I'm in the process of getting in better shape and hiring a photographer to take better pics for dating apps, so the launch of that strategy is still someways ahead and will take time to be effective.

In the first two years of college I did well with game, through parties/socials thrown by my fraternity. The last two were spent in an LTR that went LDR, which ended due to slowly devolving into AFC/BP behaviors. In hindsight she didn't meet half of my criterion for a woman.

Unfortunately, for IRL game, my social network out where Im relocating is non-existent aside from two BP friends neck deep in fem-framed LTRs. They just don't go out.

I included the above background to introduce the context of my reclusivity as of late. I am also a textbook ENTP for those familiar with Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, if that helps the context.

:::Problem::: While I'm really comfortable being alone and working on myself, it's getting kinda dull. lack of human contact and meaningful relationship is getting to me. I'd like to spend my weekends practicing game and meeting girls. Meeting like-minded guy fiends outside of work is a plus. Ein either case, I don't know how to practice game as a total lone wolf, IRL, outside of the college-campus conveniences.

This leads me to the title questions:

  • How valuable is having a social network when practicing game? How can a social network be built from scratch? What advice could you give someone in my situation?
