Back in the Ancient Past, your Wise Old Uncle Vasya was in a fraternity and on a sports team. So I basically had a glass in my hand all the time and got laid morning, noon and night. Back then, you had to have a plan to fail; now you need a plan to succeed.

Of the guys I’ve kept in touch with over the years, most of them were in my house. A few others from my team and then a handful from neither.

If you are in a top fraternity, there will be parties with hot girls, and they will break their “party rules” and slut it up for you. If you are in a shit frat, you will feel like you got lost and turned up in some sort of “loser outreach group”.

Choose wisely.

Being in a (good) frat is like having status just handed to you. I consistently noticed that when I was going to a big state school that the guys that were in frats literally had the highest status on campus and the access to the hottest women. Their frats historically had strong ties with certain sororities (and typically the girls who rush for sororities are hot as hell) so they would have date parties, socials, and would always do events together. As far as competition, sure you have other frats and all that but really who really cares since you'd be in the top 10% of the social hierarchy anyways.

It might help, but I'll just say that being in a frat just made me more of an alcoholic.
